A whistleblower letter alleges that a National Institutes of Health (NIH) animal lab long targeted by White Coat Waste (WCW) is in “full coverup mode” over a dangerous monkey bite accident and an apparent international virus smuggling incident that reportedly led to the suspension of animal experimenters and an ongoing FBI investigation.

In direct response to WCW’s shocking exposé, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has confirmed to journalist Laura Loomer that his agency referred NIH animal experimenter Vincent Munster to the FBI and stated, “I assume he is going to prison.”

WCW was the first to report that a notorious taxpayer-funded animal experimenter at NIH’s Rocky Mountain Laboratory (RML) named Vincent Munster was removed from the agency directory and reportedly suspended.

In an anonymous letter recently obtained by WCW, a whistleblower alleges that Munster, who conducts animal experiments with dangerous foreign viruses, attempted to smuggle “dozens of vials in his baggage” on a trip back from Africa in January and lied to customs officials about their contents.

The letter states Munster “got caught trying to sneak VHF [viral hemorrhagic fever] samples into the United States from Africa” and that NIH officials “did not inform the RML campus and went into full coverup mode.” The source claims Munster and two colleagues traveling with him were quietly banned from the RML campus.

Additionally, the new whistleblower complaint alleges that a monkey bite was the cause of an incident first uncovered by WCW in January that exposed an RML lab staffer to Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever — a deadly, foreign virus used by NIH for maximum-pain experiments on monkeys.

The source stated the lab staffer was “bitten by an infected monkey (macaque) that was being tortured (infected and sickened with no pain mitigation)”

The letter alleges that the accident was “hidden” from most of RML’s employees, and the exposed lab worker was “flown out” to avoid suspicion.

WCW was the very first to expose how Dr. Fauci funded the Wuhan animal lab. WCW’s new investigation is the world’s first to expose these previously unseen documents.

UPDATE (5/26/26): Citing WCW’s exposés, Montana Senator Tim Sheehy (R-MT) has requested an investigation into NIH’s Rocky Mountain Lab by the Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services.

Munster has long been involved in gain-of-function research — including research that may have contributed to the laboratory creation of SARS-CoV-2.

Gain-of-function research is “dangerous to everyone,” said Karl Jablonowski, Ph.D., senior research scientist for Children’s Health Defense. He said the monkeypox virus “is a candidate to repeat a pandemic” and is “evolutionarily related to smallpox.”

In 2018, Munster was listed as a partner in a proposal for the DEFUSE Project. The proposal, submitted to the federal government’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), proposed altering bat viruses by inserting a spike protein with a furin cleavage site — which would enable that virus to infect human lungs.

“DARPA denied funding for DEFUSE, but the following year, a novel bat virus with a furin cleavage site began infecting humans in Wuhan,” The Disinformation Chronicle wrote. “No other virus closely related to the COVID virus has this furin cleavage site.”

Vincent Munster was part of Daszak’s DEFUSE group. DEFUSE is the blueprint for making Covid in a lab. The idea was rejected for funding by U.S. authorities as too reckless and dangerous, but the Chinese side, which was also part of DEFUSE, went ahead on its own.

Baric and Fauci also closely collaborated with Peter Daszak, Ph.D. — the former president of EcoHealth Alliance, who had financial ties to the Wuhan Lab and who also played a key role in promoting the zoonotic theory.

Munster has maintained ties with Daszak and EcoHealth Alliance over the years — including research they co-authored in 2022 on Nipah Virus detection in bat roosts. Munster and EcoHealth scientists were both cited in a 2017 Science article about “hunting” for the Ebola virus among African bat colonies.
