I Think I Know Why Melania Trump Really Just Went After Jimmy Kimmel
Though most of the commentary on Melania’s Kimmel rant has pointed to the “expectant widow” line, it seems just as relevant that earlier in Thursday’s show, Kimmel had been joking about Melania and Epstein. He was dwelling in particular on an infamous photo of the two of them together, as well as implying that it was Epstein who originally introduced Trump and Melania, a point the first lady was very specific in denying. Her lashing out and blaming Kimmel of all people for violence doesn’t make much sense, but that’s par for the course with Melania. At least she and her husband have found a common enemy for once. It’s a somewhat rare display of unity.
