I will wait a few days before passing judgement on the latest Minneapolis shooting. Too many people out there with an agenda skewing things. Just need to let things settle out before passing judgement.
Agree, but I'd suggest that unless you NEED to be in the area to avoid it to avoid problems. If you go there on purpose then perhaps you are asking for problems. Other places to safely protest.

Exactly. Especially going to a place like that armed and with two magizines. I am also reading that one of the Agents got his finger bitten off. Two people have been arrested for that. Also, this guy is apparently a nurse at the local VA hospital.

I believe they have open carry there in MN if you have a permit. I would question intelligence of anyone who decides to go out of their way to be in that area but maybe he was on his morning jog and happened upon the situation.

We will have to wait and see how this all pans out. But, at this time it appears that he involved himself into the situation instead of avoiding it and continuing on his "morning jog".

Officer ‘will lose finger’ after unhinged Minnesota rioters bite him during protests: DHS

Chaos erupted in Minneapolis Saturday after hundreds of protesters faced off against federal agents in the wake of the fatal shooting of an armed man who allegedly tried to intervene in the arrest of a criminal migrant.

One Homeland Security agent even lost a finger in the violence, according to DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin, who posted photos of a sobbing demonstrator — and the bloody, severed digit.

“In Minneapolis, these rioters attacked our law enforcement officer and one of them bit off our HSI officer’s finger,” she posted on X, adding, “He will lose his finger.”

Legal permit holder.

Concealed too
He was legal and permitted

Regardless, he had a legal right to be there.
Did you see the videos! He didn’t initiate the confrontation.
You don’t have an opinion?

ICE said they’re going to investigate themselves, how do you think that will turn out?

Guess we'll find out if he obeyed lawful orders or if he ignored them, challenged them and put himself into a situation that endangered his safety.

Pro tip: do not approach law enforcement during an active law enforcement action whether armed or not. Obey all lawful orders.
