URGENT!!! There will be new DMSS 2.0 and new cloud account mode & new cloud video streaming

DoLynk is not something the industry in my country would take to due to them having their ways set from previous versions of DMSS. DoLynk is just extra configuration and extra work.
I understand DoLynk might not be for everyone.
It makes sense for AirShield and large deployments IMO. AirShield you have to use DMSS or DoLynk to configure anyway...
For standalone NVRs it is useful if you use the template configuration or the end user consents to you receiving health/error reports.

I have enquired internally about DoLynk for those in the States (another person here asked too) but nothing at this moment is available sorry.

Mr DahuaTechnical, can you advise why Dahua have forced the use of accounts in DMSS? The obvious issue is that you are basically agreeing to have your data collected by third parties by entering an email address into the app. This goes for installers on DoLynk and end users on DMSS. I have used and installed Dahua for 15 years. I never had a security issue with a serial number/user/password method of adding devices. Dahua will try claim its for security, but the terms and conditions in the app clearly state there is data collection happening once you sign up.

in both cases (classic P2P and new P2P with cloud logging) cams / NVRs sended a lot of data to the Dahua cloud. I did many times in previous years traffic analysis from/to NVR at network level - it's not that old P2P didn't used cloud.. Yes it used it, and periodically sent encrypted data to it..

Simply now we have account with email login - which is one extra thing shared to Dahua. And at marketing level it's called cloud login. But both technologies used cloud servers and sent to it data.

Dahua tries to copy solutions offered by other companies - like Ubiquiti. Where You have extra cloud layer (unifi.ui.com portal) with all networks connected to the same cloud admin login. Plus remote management.

and they tried to correct wrong model, where installers didn't shared admin password to clients to have ability to remote management by P2P. Now they have DoLynk for that.
