I'm still on version 4.8.6.3 and I'm wondering if I should go for version 5 now. I see its now available for $62.99. Is it worth it, is it that much better than version 4? By the way, is version 5 compatible with Windows 7 64 bit?
 
Most of us here think it is worth it. The use of substreams, AI, ability to break out different ONVIF triggers, etc. are a few of the game changers.

Folks here run BI5 on Win7.

Can't you just signup for a 1 year maintenance for $35 (or whatever it is at the moment) to upgrade?
