Hello,
I have an LTS LTN8716K-P16 on firmware version V3.4.96 Build 171127
I want to upgrade it to the latest Version V4.74.200 Build 230918 but I can't directly do that "if current firmware is older than V4.32.110, please call tech support " which is impossible as an end-user

my question is where can I download all previous firmware versions released between them? LTS doesn't give access to them

Thanks in Advance!!

The first question many will ask is why are you updating?

Do the release notes specifically call out fixing a problem you have? Rarely does an update provide additional functionality. It is usually to fix a bug that some were experiencing.

If not, you run a risk of either bricking the unit or having a feature you are using being eliminated with a firmware update.

We get posts weekly from someone updating just for the sake of updating and things go south quick.

Many here believe in the if it ain't broke don't fix it philosophy as it relates to NVRs and cameras.

White I agree with the it ain't broke don't fix it. The unit has been setting for some time and now trying to bring back up and online it is basically forcing me to update to remove or add cameras to the system among other things
So basically without upgrading its as worthless to me as it being bricked

Hey,
I have been looking for a way to upgrade the firmware on an LTN8716K-P16 as well what did you end up doing?

For anyone who finds this thread, I just upgraded my LTN8708K-P8 NVR to the newest firmware version!

If you were an installation professional calling tech support, they would instruct you to do the following IN THIS ORDER:

(1) Upgrade to NVRK_V3.4.96_180912 (if your firmware is older), then;
(2) Upgrade to NVRK_V4.32.110Build220805, then;
(3) Upgrade to NVRK_V4.74.200_230918 which is current and found at LTS's official website.

I will see if I can get the first two firmware version posted somewhere. Once I do later today, just search on the exact name (including the underscores), and in a few days search engines should pick the links up, and you'll find them. Or you can find my email at the top of tonytonini.com and I'll get them to you with a link. I am happy to, since someone did the same generous thing for me.

P.S. I used the web interface with MS's IE to do the upgrades and it worked nicely. Use MS Edge and then: Settings/Default Browser/ALLOW (sites to be reloaded in IE mode)/ADD A PAGE (set IP address to your NVR's).

I just found this. I am adding a second one and the first is older so upgrading firmware Versions to match.

Did you get the two older Firmawares uploaded somewhere?
