Not sure what else to say - Ubiquiti's target audience for cameras are clearly for mainstream users; not for folks like us on this forum
A member of the Ubiquiti community told me that sensor size and camera body foam factor are not related to other; when clearly a bigger sized sensor requires a bigger foam factor. Take the fixed Color4K Turret that Andy sells here; big 1/1.2" sensor in a varifocal turret body foam factor; this won't fit the smaller sized fixed turret foam factor especially when you factor in other existing parameters like the LED lights.
Anyway, anyone here tried the G6 Turret? 1/1.8" 4K sensor and AI built in with LPR, lol.

Good point regarding setting it and forgetting in the UniFi world. The price is what deters me in over-investing in Ubiquti cameras as well as the nightime performance of Andy's Dahua cameras still outperform Ubiquiti. With the way new Sony sensors are gradually trickling their way into the market, Ubiquiti is late to the party; still using older Omnivision sensors.
