Hello!
I have an old Night Owl 1080p analog clearance Walmart set that is on the way out and I want to replace with POE IP cameras. I live out in the rural boonies Midwest US and would just have a motion light over the garage. I don't believe I would ever use the white LEDs on the new cameras as the motion light is very bright.
Looking at all the posts I can and reviews, 4MP with a 1.8 CMOS would be the best. I'm looking at a fixed focal turret at 3.6mm or 4.0mm lens. Problem is, there's too many choices. I've narrowed it down to a few. I have a server in the house I will be installing Frigate on to use with the camera(s).

My choices:
IPC-Color4M-T
IPC-T2347G3-SL
IPC-T54IR-AS-S3

Pros and cons?
I think these are the newer versions. Has anyone used these with Frigate?

Thanks,

I know nothing about Frigate

The T54IR-AS-S3 has the best overall image hands down

The 4M-T is good for using right at an entry door allowing it to turn on the white LED's (and Optional Red/Blue warning lights) upon motion with a setting for how long they stay on

Both will require a good amount of external light to run color at night in larger unconfined areas.. Plan on IR and be happy if you can get a clean color image if you have enough light. "Night Color" is a marketing term and comes with pro's and con's

4M-T
