Turret mounting on gable end, preference?

Hi all,

I'll be mounting a Empiretech turret on the gable end of the house (ie, no soffit). It sounds like wall mounting the turret vertically is an option, as it seems to still be able to rotate adequately (will use a compatible junction box). I know the wall mount bracket is also an option, providing the horizontal surface to mount. Does anyone have a preference in this situation? Seems like the mounting vertically on the wall will be lower profile, but using the bracket gives better range of movement. Any advice which to use?

Thanks,
Steve

Turret mostly use the junction box can do the job,

There has 2 junction box, one is PFA130-E the round one, another one is square PFA122, Both can work for the most turrets cams we are selling. Square one is easier to install than the round one. Easy to adjust the view angle, no problem.
