true cloud hosting for ip cameras

i guess the the kvm stands for keyboard video and mouse. do i need the finger bot?

The base KVM unit does not have the ability to power on/off a computer. To do that, you will need either the optional ATX board or the optional "finger bot" - which ever fits your use case better. I have two Comets with two ATX boards, but one of the computer refuses to allow the ATX board to power on/off the computer. It will reset/reboot a computer already powered on, but something about that particular computer prevents it from being powered on from a turned off status. A finger bot would be better for that computer. (PS - it's not the ATX board either, because I can swap the cards in the two computers and the problem stays with the computer). So long story short, perhaps the finger bot would be a better "universal" choice, since it is literally a device that mirrors a person's finger pressing the power button, it is going to work on every computer unless the button is so small that the finger can't press it adequately.

EDIT - the GL-iNet products are not the only remote KVM devices available either. I suggested them because I have first hand experience with them, but there are other choices too.
