Hello, I am managing (Trying) 4 different BI installation's. I decided to upgrade all of them to BI version 6 today. The first two updated with no issues. On the third computer I got a Microsoft Visual C+ error code 4154, failed to install correctly. After looking that code up, it does not sound good. I tried all suggestions but no luck. I did export BI 5 before the upgrade but when i import file, it still shows version 6. All cameras are wired and the show "No connection. I ran DB repair, uninstalled and reinstalled. I ran repair on Microsoft Visual and each time, I got a repair successful but it still showing no connections. Also the BI program shuts itself down after about a minute after opening it up. That's the first problem. On another computer code project is not working, says refused to connect. I reached out to BI support and they worked on it for several days and suggested I updated to BI 6. They said all my settings looked good on the BI side. No issues with code project with any of the other computers. Has anyone else experienced these issues? Thanks

Just my two cents - others may have different ideas.
Download and install the latest 64-bit version of the Microsoft C++ Run-Time package.
Shutdown and restart the BI computer.

Something else to consider - depending on how you installed BI 6, the Blue Iris service may not be running. Check Task Manager / Services and be certain the Blue Iris service is running.
You maybe on to something here. It was not running in task manager until I opened BI up. I pinned it to start and it ran for a short time but then BI shut itself down and it was not running in the task manager again. But I would think that the short time it does run, the cameras should be back on but they still show not connected.
