Hi,

Time for another camera here.
I need help decision between:
1a. IPC-T5442TM-AS
1b. IPC-T5442TM-AS-LED
2. IPC-T2231T-ZS

While I like the night image from the 2231 (and I have the v1 model), and that it has Varifocal which I don't really need, I like the 5442 for its bigger sensor, microphone, AI.
Will I get same low light image quality from the 5442 as the 2231 ?
From the 5542s, which one in favor ?

They should be very close in low light performance. I prefer the 5442 series

The 2231 v2 seems to have similar low-light performance as the 5442.

As for the difference between the regular 5442 and the 5442 LED, ... the LED model is like having a bright spotlight built into the camera. If you have an area you need to illuminate at night (i.e. dark porch, ally, etc) the LED model might be useful. But for most, I think the regular (not LED) model would probably make more sense. The both use the same image sensor. The LED one is marketed as a "Full Color" model, but it will switch to B/W if the light level gets low enough (which theoretically would never happen if you have the camera's LED turned on at night). If you decide you don't want the LED on at night, if you're in a dark area, it will switch to B/W (like the non-LED model).
