So the week before Thanksgiving, we had Slag brought/spread/rolled on our entrance drive and round-about, 84 tons, no joke, 3 Dump Trucks (12 tons each) and 2 Belly Dump Trailers (24 tons each), anyway I went to retrieve my tape measure this morning and found a rock (metal) attached to the magnetic end. Then I remembered, a few days back I went out to measure our driveway after installing new garage motion lights to measure how many feet the motion sensor triggers when someone pulls up on our round-about.

So we definitely have Slag, never thought of testing the rock...

Here is my review on these awesome motion lights I installed, as I have said before it gets pitch black dark out here in the country, now when someone drives up they have light...

These lights have several settings, lets say you want to keep them On at night but not full brightness, they can stay on at 30% then brighten when motion is detected. They have a good distance for detection, which can be adjusted too.

The last (or nearly last) Japanese soldier laid down his rifle in 1974 after his former commanding officer returned to the Phillipines to order him out of the jungle.
I remember as a kid seeing the Gilligans Island episode with Japanese holdouts... but the truth in this story is that this soldier conducted raids and killed islanders across the 3 decades since the war ended...
