I posted this because I admire the man's skill...he's quite the artist. But I am amazed also that he wears no eye protection, no right hand glove and no breathing protection....obviously no OSHA in sight so it's likely NOT in the U.S. of A.

Gloves shouldn't be worn while running a lathe. The risks of a glove getting caught in the turning mechanisms far exceed the benefits. No gloves and no loose long sleaves!

Funny you posted this, just had a guy come out today that I am getting a quote to re-top our entrance drive (about 500 feet by 12 feet wide). When I first met him, he was in one of those 3 axle dump trucks and was saying they normally haul about 22 tons of rock in them...apparently it is all about the tires on how much you can haul, or not...
