Yes, but that blue dye would be great! Provided it did not get on anyone's car.I could be wrong but if a poisonous gas or substance is released when cut that would be illegal, wouldn't it?
That's reasonable, IMO. But it's discriminatory against illiterate people!Yes, but that blue dye would be great! Provided it did not get on anyone's car.

Which is why there shouldn't be any warning giving those who can read an unfair probably racist advantage. But it's discriminatory against illiterate people!
What happens if you pile rocks across a dry ancient creekbed that is not identified as a waterway? Bureaucrats lose their F-ing minds and fine you-- even though the land was IMPROVED.
Talk about planetary alignment, yikes
This video gives me the Hee Bee GEE BEEs...
I asked that myself. You can't blink your eyes with that many going...having flown since I was a kid, I have flown when we had around 5 up at the same time. When you are real high up you can't tell if it is your plane or not. The key to knowing if it is yours is by your controlling it. If you bank right and nothing happens, you are following the wrong plane. I have had just about everything happen that could, from sweat in your eyes, sun of course, sun glasses slipping off, sneezing, a list of distractions, you name it. Crazy enough, you just somehow recover and know...hard to explain...1. How do they know who's is who's? How can they keep track in flight. Don't take your eyes off yours.
2. They all have the same numbers and tail markings.
3. Looks like one crashed and burned and they just let it burn.

There is the Schiveley RC/ Flying Field that is on Kuykendahl just N of Rankin on the West side. I looked into going there. maybe 30 years ago?, but it was private and you had to be invited/sponsored to join. Seems to be easier now.One place I flew was at Rankin Road, East of 45 back in the day, there was a wide road that nothing ever got built on it, no buildings, well one finally, the road had no curbs, no trees and it was far enough away from Rankin Road to allow us to fly. Every weekend it was full of us RC Nuts...miss those days.

Yep, been there many times, most all the Rankin Road guys moved there to fly. Alot of story on how that place got started, many challenges. I see by the map they added more hangers. Spectators are welcome, when you drive in to your right before the hangers will be the Helicopters, They are awesome to watch. They refer to them as 3D Flying, which is, or was popular, 3D Plane flying too. I never got to that level...There is the Schiveley RC/ Flying Field that is on Kuykendahl just N of Rankin on the West side. Since we are on the subject, here is a place I use to go yearly, sometimes 2-3 times, during their Events or just popping in on weekends...
It is about an hour drive from Spring, So Well Worth It...BB Weber started this club, they have a big covered bleacher and even food/drinks/snacks for Events. Awesome field, paved runway, even have or had a water runway for the Floaters...Flyers come from all over the country to fly there...or at least use too, looking back on my pictures, last pics/time there was 2022...
They have two events left this year...normally they had three public events each year...I highly recommend both of these. If you are into vintage, mainly WWII planes make the Big Bird Fly-In. Jets, oh yes, got to take the grandkids to this event...amazing speeds...awesome show...they even have an Announcer, or use to for the Big Bird event. Some of the guys from Bomberfield fly at the Big Air Show in Ellington, Wings Over Houston which is also coming up in Oct.-Nov., get there early to see the RC Flyers before the Main show...

Looks like no more Sunday Events for the Public, I would go Saturday...be aware, it can be cold and windy during that time of the year, bring wind breakers/jackets...Farmland, wide open fields...
One year, many years ago, they had one of the actual B-17s do a flyby, it was awesome to see it that close up with bomb doors open...we waved at the pilot...very kewl...they did a couple of passes, think they were headed to an Air Show and BB Weber set up the Flyby...RIP BB...
Oh and no Electrics out there...which will never replace the smell and sound of fuel/gas...ahh the sweet smell of RC fuel, use smell it all the way home from the flying fields...
Here is the Big Bird Event from 2024:
OMG, check out 26 Minute Mark, very kewl landings...love it...
