Have a look at using Pushover as a solution. I implemented this when the cellular vendors removed the capability to send text messages sourced from emails. It works well for me.
I've figured out how to send Pushover notifications with pictures and hyperlinks from Blue Iris Actions without using external scripts. This approach uses curl and the Pushover API, and provides functionality similar to that recently described for Telegram . EDIT (5/16/2022) - For those who...
Yes you can do text messaging from BI.....BUT.....every mobile provider blocks it at some point as their spam algorithm detects it was sent from not a human.
Okay... I probably need to learn how to setup the motion triggers first, since these will be different than the AI via the camera's IP address. Is there a thread on setting this up?
The camera must must be configured in Blue Iris to trigger on ONVIF events (Camera settings > 'Motion/Trigger' tab > 'ONVIF/Camera events').
Then a 'Run a program' Action must be added via an Action Set (Camera settings > Alert tab > 'On alert...').
