T54IR-S3 facing outward from interior space - false alarms from passing pedestrians, how to configure correctly?

Hello,
I have an IPC-T54IR-ZE-S3 and would like to ask you about a specific situation.

I have mounted it in a room, facing the door/window front to the outside. My problem is that (with IVS -> Tripwire/intrusion, I have already reduced the sensitivity to 4) I am getting a lot of false alarms from people or even vehicles passing by on the sidewalk about 5 meters away from the window. The camera is also about 4 meters away from the window inside.

How can I achieve reliable detection in this situation, only of people who are directly at the door?

Are you using IVS and NOT Motion detection?

Agree - sounds like you have MD/SMD turned on.

But a snapshot of your field of view with the IVS lines drawn on it will help a lot in troubleshooting.

Could be reflection, but as others have said, need to see your camera FOV with IVS lines from your camera/NVR/SmartPSS live screen showing them
