I am looking at the SV3C web site and I am not sure based upon your information which camera you actually have, maybe I am blind!

How are you connecting your computer and 8 cameras to this router via ethernet as it only has 4 ports? I am hoping that your computer is not connected via WIFI, is so then that is your bottle neck!
