Suggestion request for geofencing and dahua

hey there

I would like to kindly ask you a suggestion, i'm trying to turn on and off notifications on intrusions i receive via dahua DMSS app depending if i'm not home/home, with the help of HAOS. it's a pity DMSS doesn't support geofencing natively.

I configured the automations on HAOS to setup geofencing, and connected HAOS to dahua NVR via rroller integration. there are actions to disable ivs rules, but it doesn't seem to work via NVR. i also had a look at API calls but they don't seem to work through NVR.

NVR is NVR2108-8P-4KS2, fw version V4.001.0000005.2.R.20240806

any ideas on how to do it? a total different way is welcome, but i really don't want to switch to a different APP to view notifications.

Geofencing has been added into DMSS.
You can set arming/disarming of devices, and/or notifications enabled/disabled.
Radius can be set between 500m - 1km (0.3 - 0.6miles).




Note: In NVR NEXT it is possible to link an AirShield alarms arming with the NVR. Only arming one of the devices may be required.

Thank you for the suggestion, very useful addition to DMSS. I found a workaround but this one is more direct.
