I'm amazed that the above post comes 8 months since the previous one! Surely we have a lot more stupid people that qualify for "Stupid people deserve their own thread...." :idk:

the guy is speeding and gets pulled over. When he says "I'm traveling sir" -- you know it's going to be good.

I know it's been almost a year but I just had to watch this again.......

When the sovereign citizen perp says "I'm traveling, sir" I was waiting for the cop to say "yeah, you're traveling alright...traveling to JAIL!" :lmao:

So many places this could have been posted and each appropriate but IMO, this guy is a candidate for "Darwin Award Winner of the Year" and deserves special recognition.

Man who asked ChatGPT about cutting out salt from his diet was hospitalized with hallucinations

Maybe some of you don't think this should be posted in the stupid people forum. I never did understand the allure of drug to grown ass people. It's not like it's a secret that everyday people die from drug use that goes down as "accidental drug overdose". To me it's attempted suicide when you use it and confirmed suicide when it kills you. It's well known (these days it is) that drug cocktails laced with deadly substances are being sold on the streets and you risk death when partaking. And the people who are tagged as "successful" it's truly a mystery how people can be so stupid.

Excerpt from ^^^:

"Nolan-O’Slatarra was found unconscious aboard a boat named Ripple at the ritzy yacht club around midnight. The vessel is one of at least two Grateful Dead-themed 54-foot Sea Ray craft owned by insurance mogul Christopher Durnan, sources previously told The Post."
Oh and I'm POSITIVE this man had absolutely no knowledge of any of this....there has NEVER been any illegal drugs or activities on his boat (or so says a fist-full of money under the table to the local corrupt police chief).

I actually agree, not that it's intentional suicide, but wiht people who take drugs. I've never understood why people try to shut out their problems with drugs or alcohol.

But in the case of drugs, why would you take some crystals or powder in a clear baggy not having a clue what it really is? It could be drugs, it could be weedkiller, or any chemical under the sun or a mixture of the them. You don't know. I've disposed of baggies that have been dropped at our premises. There's no way I'd ingest clear crystals or unknown white powder in an unmarked plastic bag from an unknown source. It literally could be anything. I've also seen the effects. Homeless sit outside our premises. One was taken ill outside and we believe he died from the bad drugs, hard to know as not much info available. We called him an ambulance. Never seen him since and other homeless haven't either. Another was a nice guy we knew for years, used to be friendly, polite, helpful etc. One bad batch of drugs later, he became an aggressive violent lunatic we had to call the police out to who had to ban him from the area after he threatened to kill the manager. He was even aggressive with the Police. Police said something the drugs had been cut with had fried his mind and he was now permanetly aggressive and violent. Apparently they have to deal with him regularly elsewhere.

Then the only action I see more stupid than taking drugs is the do gooders who give the homeless money. By all means by them food or a drink or book them in a hotel at your expense, or give them a job, although the latter rarely succeeds - many of the ones outside our place have been offered one, but not a single person has ever lasted more than a week or two from the groups outside us. It seems addiction gets in the way. However. don't give them money. They nearly all spend it on drugs so the do gooders who think they're helping are actually helping them feed their addiction and in some cases helping them die.
