Just wrapped up a few dome installs on double-brick walls in Australia, sharing what worked.
A few things worth knowing:
1.Drill into the brick face, not the mortar — anchors hold way better. Angle your cable entry hole slightly downward so water doesn't track in, then silicone it.

2. Don't seal the dome cover until you've checked live view on the NVR and confirmed your angle. Big pain to redo once it's locked down.

3.Mount height: 2.4–3m works well for most residential.
