And this proves further -
For the third time this year, I was forced to factory reset UniFi Protect and reconfigure everything from scratch -
From devices rebooting, to devices going offline, having to be readopted, adoption failures, false alarms, alarm manager going Woke, and UnIFi Protect (Physical Security category) products which are obviously half-baked, not fully polished, and not ready for primetime.
I would never favor one ecosystem entirely; and I don't support Remote Access, but Ubiquiti really wants us to purchase their ecosystem 100% and enable remote access as an excusive to use their customers as guinea pigs for product testing!
Turn off Remote Access, Turn off Auto-Updates
Ubiquiti blames their customers - they never take full accountability
@wittaj was right all along
Blue Iris and Home Assistant with third-party support for the win!
