A family member asked me to help with some cameras for their house. They're trying to stay under $1000 and I'm thinking we could start with 2 or 3 cameras for now. I personally run the EmpireTech T54s with Unifi Protect and AI Ports. I'm thinking of the same setup for them, if it doesn't go over budget. I have another family member with T54s and an EmpireTech NVR, but I'm worried the DMSS app might be a challenge for this household. Any other options I should consider? I understand the budget creates some challenges.
