Seagate Skyhawk vs WD Purple

WD Purple here because had problems with older Seagate drives many years ago and probably ok now but the past failures has put me off a little.

Just curious but were the older Seagate drives that failed you years ago surveillance drives also?

Maybe we need to go back up to 5.25" specifications from Win 3.1 days. LOL then they can get more TB's without shingled magnetic recording. View attachment 88614

Boy, I miss those days in high school and college. The 5.25" 500MB hard drives and floppy diskettes, as well as the slick 3.5" floppies, and that box of 3M 5.25" floppies with a free EA 688 Attack Sub floppy game disk. LOL.

Probably search it on You tube. bet somebody did a comparison somewhere.
I was gonna say, Eventually the Skyhawk because it stops spinning sooner. But I refrained from such Tom Foolery. After all this is a proper Forum.
