Is this camera appropriate for a tight alleyway? Or is it better for open spaces?
Mine replaced 2 cameras. I have a detached garage set back from my house in my back yard. So the wide angle covers the backyard facing the back of the house. The medium perfectly hits my where my cars are parked and the long hits the end of the drive.

I like it. I was worried the 2MP sensors wouldn't capture enough detail, but they do fairly well

It would MILES better if it were 4MP 1/1.8 sensor... did I mention that? ;)

And a sunny day would help. Light makes everything better

I'm more impressed with the middle and far lenses than the close in

That guy in the parking lot in the red shirt on the far lens at the end is 100yds...

I recall you mentioning something to that effect. But I don't think it will happen as the market would be limited for a camera of that price

As far as the lighting, overcast gives a more uniform light. Yes, sun gives more contrast and the image appears sharper, but at times can be too contrasty and have dark shadows and blown out highlights.

We’ll get used to hearing it anyway. I’m still pissed off they took carburetors away

Yep, it is the best long distance IVS detection I have seen as well. I wonder if the other zooms are being used under the hood to aid with that?
