reolink argus pro - corruptions and other weirdness

ive had a reolink argus pro in my garden since around Christmas and recently its started to have a couple of weird issues with it. mainly, sometimes the video from it has corruptions in it, either they have artifacts on them or they freeze at some point and then only restart at the end of the video, normally this is only present on the HD videos but sometimes appears on both. Last night it also triggered but failed to turn the IR lights on, meaning the video was just dark except for a streetlamp. anyone had similar issues to this?
 
Reolink is a garbage company, with garbage products.
Wifi is horrible for security cam use.
Purchase a real camera from Dahua, Hikvision or IPCamTalks own brand.
Run an Ethernet cable to the cams location.
Study this: Cliff Notes.

Are there any temp related extremes you've recently experienced?
Battery issues?

In general consumer battery operated products are less reliable for various reasons.

hmm, thats a good thought. i live in the uk so it does generally get cold at night, down to negative 5ish Celsius. the website states that they should be able to go down to -10, which i know it definitely hits during the winter.

oh trust me, id like to buy a dahua one but dont have the founding for that or the ability to run cables to it to power it or give it network connectivity. I only really use my reolink for watching the wildlife in my garden and got it for cheap, so there really isnt a reason for me to spend ~£200 on a high quality dahua for the same purpose.

An equivalent dahua does not cost anywhere near ~£200. A ~£75 dahua would be miles ahead of that camera.

Dahua doesn't make a camera like this you would have to supply your own power ... My point was simply that you stated that the dahua would not only have to be wired but would cost about 200 which is incorrect.
