Red Band on left edge of videos

I have two new Hikvision 8MP cameras and they both have this vertical red band on the left edge of videos. Is it a problem with the lens? I can see it in both indoor and outdoor videos. Tried factory reset on both.

That is strange, especially for both cameras to have the same problem. Is there also a defect like this with the cams in night mode with IR on? What about in a fairly dark room with IR off?
There is a lot of IR in sunlight so if your cams came from a bad batch with misaligned or defective IR filters then this could explain the red/purple band on the left.

I tested now in dark room with IR on and off and I don't see the banding. I tested outdoor again now and no banding either but then it's 20:00 here and the sun has almost set so you are probably right about the IR filter. I'll have to test again in the daytime to be sure. Looking back at my other screenshot that one was captured at 20:50 the other day but that day was also very sunny.
