Rainbow glare in the morning

I just installed a new camera and notice when the sun hits it directly in the morning between 8 - 10 AM, there is rainbow glare all over the lens, as the day passes the glare is gone.

Anyway to resolve this?

move/rotate camera in place/direction where this will not be a problem...

use sun cover / shade (bullets usually have this)..

The camera is already under a soffit but will try to rotate it.

Move the camera and so will the pot of gold.





Seriously, maybe a polarizing lens filter?

Some views are problematic. Short of changing the field of view or adding a cover on it that extends far enough out, sometimes it is just a short-term issue we need to live with.

And come the next season it may not even be an issue based on where the sun is.
