Hello,

I read posts about cameras from amazon and other places as being hacked Chinese cameras. I bought my cameras from Newegg, would these cameras be in that same hacked state? How do I tell if my cameras are hacked. My cameras show in settings to be PAL. If I can should I change the firmware to NTSC? The cameras function perfectly. I’ve had a couple issue but they appear to be worked out.

If its a 5231 its not hacked. There are not less then 500 posts asking about ntsc/pal.
