Even the ZHE Bullet takes 10-14w in IR at night.

wittaj was right on. Thanks also to everyone else for comments. I'm going to have pick up those POE injectors from Andy. I put it on the 24v supply last night and reenabled BI. This morning I see that it is auto tracking very well and I've had zero lost signals. Hopefully I haven't stressed out any components.
