PTZ3E10X-T180 lag and stutter?

I have a PTZ3E10X-T180 camera wired with cat 6 cable, cable run is 65ft long to a reolink poe switch (RLA-PS1). From their i have my EmpireTech NVR (NVR8CH-AI-S2) with a 6TB Western Digital Purple drive for storage. I cannot get rid of this horrible laggy stutter in my recordings. I have this camera to record both channels full time 24/7. Please watch the youtube clips and let me know your thoughts. I have left encode settings default. I have gone through and turned off all the record functions, i thought maybe because i had it set to record all the time, that when i set off the ivs rule it was stopping my 24hr recording to record the event/ivs rule it had detected. And i initially thought that was maybe the cause. So i went into the ivs rule and disabled the record function on my ivs rule. So this footage is all continuous uninterrupted footage. On the app and in playback its all green, for general recording. Not blue like it was previously when i told the ivs rule to record. The footage looks the same if i play it back on the DMSS app, or the NVR.







 
Problem solved, the solution: i lowered bit rate from default setting way down. In my case i started at the lowest setting and walked a similar loop slowly increasing the bit rate to see what it can handle. Before stuttering began. Probably obvious to someone who deals with this stuff all the time, but the average joe will hopefully find this useful.
Certainly your videos show it is bandwidth constraint.

I'd check with a short ethernet cable between the camera and NVR (take it down for an hour).
That way you can check whether it is a faulty cable or the POE switch. It could even be one wire pair in the ethernet cable that isn't crimped down properly.

Ah okay, I just assumed the camera itself was the bottle neck with the higher bandwidth. I can't seem to go above 2048kbps on both panoramic and ptz with frame interval of 60. I will look into the terminations. Thanks for the reply, that would be awesome if its the cable or a bad crimp and not the limitations of the camera.

I run 12 cameras at 30fps at 10,240-16384 bitrate 24/7 with no troubles.

You have a bottleneck in cable or router /switch

Indeed you have a bottle neck in your network.
2mb/s is very low for a proper 4MP + 8MP video stream. The camera can support it's max bitrate... it's not a random number picked.

Very good! I wasn't sure what to exspect out of this camera. I didn't wanna waste my time chasing a problem if it turned out the camera itself was the bottle neck. Ill post an update later. Gonna do exactly what mark said, bring the camera inside with a small patch cable and see how it does. If its better i will probably run to the store and get new name brand rj45 ends, and maybe a new set of the klien tools crimper if they have the same one i have used at work.

Well, i brought the camera inside. Maybe improved? Bumped up to 4096 which seems to be doing okay with my tests in the basement with a 6ft patch cable to poe switch. So i guess thats an improvement from from the 2048kbps. Not very happy with that, if you guys can run multiple cameras at 30fps just about max bitrate i should be able to get better then the results im getting. I will have to look into how to test my switch? Doing a simple speed test with my computer plugged into the switch it tested at 980mbps download and 960mbps upload. Not that it means much for my camera but. Maybe i should have went with a empire tech switch instead of this reolink one. Lol so much money into this one camera already, really hope i can get this working.
 
One thing I have noticed with the newer GUIs is they are laggy from out of the box.

First thing I do is drop the FPS to 15 and save and do a reboot.

Then change it to whatever you want and the lag goes away.
