Here's another indication that Zerohedge is climbing on the fake news bandwagon. An article about German stupidity with power generation (which I do not challenge) contained the following false statement:
"Germany committed to replacing its nuclear plants with solar panels. Naturally this meant that, in a country where the sun barely shines, Germany became increasingly dependent on natural gas..."
I've been to Germany several times experiencing a high sunny day rate. People I know who grew up in Germany say the statement is patently false. The best they can to to defend it is to say that Italy gets more sun. It's true that, statistically, Germany has fewer hours of sunshine than the USA, but BARELY, is just a flat out lie. I'm noticing Zerohedge starting to slide into the politically motivated fake news path that so many formerly reputable outlets have.
