Prevent clips from being deleted

I'd like to store all my clips indefinitely. I've adjusted the settings under "Clips & Archiving" but they still seem to be deleted. Can anyone tell me what settings I should be using?

You can tell them not to recycle or delete.

You can flag them, but realize that your drive will fill up and then not record.

Post a screenshot of your settings under clips and archiving.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have plenty of storage space. How can I flag them automatically?

Unless you have limit clip age set or have actually filled up your allocated space for clips then I can’t think of why else BI would delete clips.

Are you saying that you have limitless space so Bi will never ever have to delete a clip to free up space?

Keep in mind that the clip data base will also grow in a never ending fashion. Once you pass the 200-250,000 level things will slow to a crawl and become pretty unstable. There is a limit to how many clips can actually be saved.

Set up separate storage and move the clips to a "non" Blue Iris disk. Read the help file.
