Pickleball/Tennis "Line Judge" CPAI?

I was wondering whether this would be possible with low-cost IP cameras and BI, and I found this project from 2014:

That was done with Intel Edison boards and their associated camera modules. Cameras and compute have come so far since then, so it seems like, if the algorithms could be ported to CPAI, building a multi-camera Line Judge system with BI could possible and affordable. Especially if I can use my gaggle of cheap, long-lens cameras

Does anyone know of efforts in this direction?

I found another project using YOLO, but it's using phone cameras:

Maybe Frigate + your cheap $30 camera could be lower cost. Frigate can run on a very low end PC, old laptop, and no license cost.
