OK, I guess it depends on whether the above scenario happened frequently, or was a one-off false alert. I have very occasionally had these sort of fluke detections, but can dismiss them as long as they aren't a constant daily problem. Otherwise it is normally covered already by the AI zone masking that has always been available, and I'm not sure what exactly changed with versions > 6.0.2.8.

I've not had another object(car) outside the motion zone alert overnight, but I've still had a passing car's headlights trigger motion and then my car listed as a static object trigger my alert.
