It will usually stay on the first person it starts tracking. But sometimes it decides to track a mailbox the person goes by LOL. Or maybe in the right situation switch people.
Situations like this are why we always suggest using a PTZ as a compliment and not replacement for fixed cams because a PTZ could completely miss something.
that's why I wanted the dual like this so I get the 180 and the spotter in one, Just debating between this one and the 25x one. Last question is when I add it to BlueIris Can I add it as 2 cameras the top 180 cam as 1 and the ptz as another?

As of right now, the 25x can track cars, but the other one cannot if that is important to you. But it sounds like a firmware update may be coming to give it vehicle tracking.
Just got the PTZ3E10X and like it a lot. Has anyone been able to get autotracking to work on an IVS rule-by-rule basis? I have a single IVS intrusion zone on the panoramic cam on a golf course fairway near my house that I would like the PTZ to autotrack when a human appears in that zone only. I have other intrusion zones and tripwires on the pano cam that I do not want to have the PTZ to autotrack. I hope I'm missing something, but autotrack seems like an all-or-nothing deal with the current firmware. Anyone had success getting autotrack work with a single IVS rule when you also have other IVS rules?
