This is the strangest situation I can imagine. I have eight cameras, 3 indoor (IP2M-841) and 5 outdoor (IP3M-943). They have been installed and working for years.
I recently installed a new Win11 PC and installed "Smart PSS". I then imported the configuration file for the cameras and everything worked. I also have the "ViewPro2" app on two new phones I recently bought. I have one older phone with the ViewPro app (not ViewPro2). For the phones I needed to reinstall the phones individually again because the credentials to log the cameras in did not migrate to the new phones. This is where the strange things began.
I loaded all eight cameras into one of the new phones and it went smoothly. I added 7 of the 8 cameras into the second phone and the 8th camera would not configure, as if it was not there or the credentials were not correct. I turned off the phone and rebooted my router and I was then able to access the 8th camera on the second new phone.
I went to use my PC's Smart PSS program and all the cameras were there. About a week later the one camera showed up as disconnected, would not auto-login, and has a red circle with a line across it on the camera list. I've rebooted the router and power cycled the camera numerous times and it is still not logging in. I can still access it from the other PC's and the new phones, and even one of the old phones.
I exported the devices from one of the PC's where the cameras all work and imported it to the problem PC and rebooted the PC and the camera but it still does not login that one camera.
It still works fine from wherever I access the cameras. They all connect to the same router.
Is there some sort of device limit where only so many lists of cameras can be accessed?
It worked on the PC for a while and stopped working for that one camera somewhere along the way but it still works from the phones and another PC (a Win10 PC).
