OMG Another example of how bad some cameras are at night.

Cloaked porch pirate

Using a new stealth suit now. Reolink 810.
Not mine but thought it was kind of funny.
Good example of how you should test things out before you need the footage.
Just grabbed a Reolink Trackmix to be able to zoom into my 3 fish tanks lol. I had a Dahua varifocal that works great but I cant pan it. I guess I'm spoiled. This thing sucks. Didn't want to dump more than a couple hundred bucks but I hate the trackmix already. It has a 2 lens body in which only has digital zoom. Its trash. I have a couple 49225 outside but they're too big to hang off floor joists. Gonna have to search the forums for a smaller ptz with OPTICAL zoom that isn't 500 bucks and doesn't suck. I laughed when I saw this thread about Reolink. Back to Amazon it goes.

@wittaj post lots of the poor videos from reolink. The white shoes help us find the theft. Lol, sure he is a good runner, very fast.

Yep, I am going to add these to those threads for future reference.

As I have said, all they are good for is telling the police what time the incident happened!

Meanwhile, the dude's house is full of Reolinks and none of them performed.

Holy cobweb Batman. With the porch lights and IR bounce from this tight corridor, it should perform better. @bigredfish has great examples showing how a camera can benefit in this situation.

Let's throw a Unifi doorbell in the mix...ironically most here feel Reolink makes the best doorbell cam LOL
