NVR set forget easy interface for 8 POE IP cameras home use - Looking for recommendations

I'm helping out my brother who has used blue iris (I set it up), he's not liking it and wanting something easier. Wants to be able to remotely access it and have a friendly UI that's about it. Any recommendations?

Was considering Amcrest or Reolink.

I have no experience with either of those, but any interface will have a learning curve unless it’s so stripped then to be useless.

Amcrest should be similar to Dahua

Thanks, was looking and I don't think he needs to more robust features or 2HDD. Think the EmpireTech NV41AI-8P-4KH should work as i think those are the major differences, unless i'm missing something.

If you dont mind subscriptions, the EZ PZ cloud systems are available. Have him drive one of those for about a Month and see what he thinks.
