I have a Dahua NVR running several IP cameras. IVS rules for each camera are active in the NVR and the system works really well.
NVR: DHI-NVR5232-EI
Cameras: DH-IPC-HFW5541E-ZE
These cameras do not have a built-in alarm and I would like to add a siren to each one as an audible deterrent. In theory the siren would be connected to the camera’s alarm-in NO port and then activated by the cameras SMD.
Here’s my question: will the local cameras’ SMD interfere with the NVR IVS ? Or are they completely independent of each other?
Follow-up question: Is there any way to set up the sirens so they could be triggered by the NVR IVS rules?
Thanks
