Not getting clips in BI from Empire Tech cams!

Hello all, decided to revive my NVR solution after some rather annoying experiences with our local security firm. ( Prices )
Well I have set up BI, removed auth in network settings on cam ( just testing one in BI demo ), I can see the intrusion zone go from blue to red as the wife and dog enters. Som camera fires
I have get onvif turned on, I have continious + sub on, no motion only get external and onfiv under alert.

I dunno whats going on. Is my firmware too old on andys cams? ( 4 years old app )

I have 8 EmpireTech IPC-T54IR-ZE-S3

Worked like a charm years ago - was set and forget

Any help is greatly appreciated

Go to camera setting and hit the find/inspect button and post what pops up in the window.

Some of the cameras, BI will throw that error for a few minutes before it starts receiving ONVIF calls, so see if it resolves after a few minutes.
 
Well I took a shortcut and used BI’s own detection and it works like a charm. I remember though you at some point said the IVS system in the cams are better at the job. I also tried ( and yes you can booh at me ) frigate briefly but to get a notification on my phone I had to install frigate, passthrough my coral usb in proxmox, install Home Assistant, set up mqtt, edit configuration.yaml to accept my reverse proxy from Caddy and wireguard I use home through MikroTik… just to get a snapshot … and still it doesn’t show a clip… blue iris just works! Still I’m puzzled why the ivs I set up doesn’t get sent to BI. If I were to try to update my firmware on the cams ( it’s from 2023 ) would they default to 193.168.1.88? I’m running them on vlan50 with no dns access now for well obvious reasons . Thx for helping @wittaj
