No web UI without console?

Hm, this is tricky.
As recommended in another thread earlier, I'm now running BI as a dedicated user (BlueIris), but that apparently doesn't really work as no web UI is being served, nor does it appear to be recording as the network traffic is nowhere near what it is otherwise. Also, starting the console now results in a "Failed to start service" message and the checkbox telling it to run as a service becoming unchecked.
The help section for running as a service doesn't mention anything about this situation. Have I misunderstood something?

Ah - the service user account must be an administrator, that wasn't clear from the BI help, only that the console must be started as an admin. Now it appears to be recording and serving the web UI.
