New IPC-B74IR-Z4-AI issue, no picture

I tried to look closely at the camera lens but I couldn’t see anything that looks abnormal or out of place. But I’ll definitely try using a flashlight when I get home from work to see if that helps with a stuck iris or any other issues. Thanks for the suggestion!

you try default to factory..
you can try to firmware upgrade to latest version... of degrade to previous one..

sometimes when you play a lot with configuration, something saves wrong in config files...

if this will not help, probably you have mechanical / electrical problem...

ps. try other streams (main/sub/third).. try different apps (DMSS / SmartPSS)...

As I mentioned in my earlier comments, it’s not related to the stream since the camera is sending data perfectly fine to every application and device I’ve tested. That part is working without any issue.
Yes, I can try flashing the latest firmware, as this would eliminate the possibility of a corrupted sensor driver. First, I noticed the issue with the picture no video being produced, only a black screen with white dots while the IPC logo, date, and overlays appeared normally. After that, I started checking and adjusting the menus and settings, but nothing changed.

Since this forum isn’t allowing me to upload pictures directly, I’ve uploaded them to Google Drive instead. Please check the link to see the video output I’m getting on the screen.

I can’t get to those, but last thing

1- What do you get when you shine a flashlight at the lens?

2- can you see the red LEDs on when looking at the camera? (Assuming you have IR enabled)

3- same black screen in daylight?

1. Nothing changes.
2. I can manually turn them on or off but nothing changes regarding the picture.
3. Nothing changes.
4. Reflashed the latest firmware 3 times and factory reset every time from the camera reset button and from the gui as well but nothing changed regarding the picture. It was my last attempt and it’s going back.

Did you test on DMSS / smartpss (last resort variant)?

It wasn’t just the camera my NVR also had a minor external hardware issue. Both items were newly received. The hard drive bay lock got jammed, and the build material was so flimsy that the key notch broke with very little force. I eventually had to force it open with a Phillips screwdriver, and even then it took quite a bit of effort to unlock it.

I guess I’ve never seen a HD bay lock on my Dahua NVRs ?

The WizMind series NVR32CH-8XI has it and now the front panel looks ruined. Honestly, I’m really frustrated and upset after spending so much money on these products. While the NVR CPU seems solid, the build quality feels questionable and the quality control is terrible.
