New HIKVision NVR Setup

Hey All,

I will be completely ripping out my old home CCTV system in the next month and replacing it with a HIKVision NVR setup. Below is the setup I am strongly considering, any suggestions or feedback would be great appreciated. If you have experience with any of these items, please let me know if you are pleased with them!

1x HIKVision DS-7608-Q2/8P NVR Recorder
8x 4MP Turret Cameras (DS-2CD2342WD-I)​

I was also contemplating replacing 2 of the front property facing cameras with the 8MP (4K) Turrets [DS-2CD2385FWD-I] and leaving the six remaining cameras around the property at 4MP (2K). Does that make sense?

Ditch the 2342 cams. Old model of cams. The 2345 are the new models for 4MP and they are classed as Darkfighter but some could argue if Darkfighter should be used with these cams. Far better in low light but the 2335 3MP are better in low light.

The 8MP cams aren’t the best in low light and I would use external lighting if recording at night is a priority.
