I’m running the built in AI on blue iris 6. Been working really well except for one problem. I have it configured to only trigger when it detects people or vehicles. Here’s the problem: when my dog is walking around outside and there’s vehicles parked in my yard, it will see the movement of my dog and trigger for the parked vehicle. I’ve attached a photo to show what I mean. How do I stop this from happening?

I am sure that someone might have some advice, but I will say this, AI is not 100% you will notice that your propane tank is a car and what might be a ride on lawn mower is a person at least it was correct that your truck is a car, I don't think it differentiates by type of vehicle! I a number of people have been struggling with the detection of "static" objects, that is were you need to concentrate on, sorry I can not solve this for you!

If you are interested there is a way to eliminate items that you are not interested in from being considered, might reduce the work load and eliminate it reporting on airplane and boats etc,

It looks like you are using the Dark model, try the general model with a minimum confidence setting of 75%
Ok so I'm using the dark model at night. Should I continue doing that or use general on both? Here's my current day and night setup:

So I have to get the ipcam-general model somewhere and add it to the AI folder?
who pulled those out their ass and didn't tell me? Ok I'm trying this on 3 of my biggest triggering cams . I'll watch it for a couple days and see how its trending.
