Need optimal night settings... BI with Hikvision 4mp turret

Hey folks,
I know this topic probably has been covered ad nauseam somewhere here, but thought I'd bring it up again for others in the same boat of-late!
Below you'll find a snapshot via BI of a Hikvision 4mp turret camera at night. As you can see, camera is crying out for light. Of course, extra light here is not an option. Would anyone in either Hikvision or BI land have any settings suggestions on how to tweak settings for a better picture?

Buy a hikvision dark fighter or a dahua starlight camera.

... As you can see, camera is crying out for light.

Acts like a dome with bad IR reflection at the top of the image.... or is that just a really dirty lens?

Regardless @SouthernYankee is right.

You may try adding some additional IR light...but really that image is pretty bad. What resolution are you running?

x3 on @SouthernYankee’s suggestion. If you can’t add more light, consider getting a camera model that can make the most of the existing light, like a Dahua Starlight or a Hik Dark Fighter.
