I use Hikvision but on this project I would prefer to use NDAA compliant manufacturer just in case. I like that you can use Hik-Connect for both cameras and door access. Any NDAA compliant manufacturers that do that? The door station must have a fingerprint reader.

Ubiquity have Unifi Protect and Unifi Access very well integrated...

And it's NDAA... good software, very easy to use (web based & mobile)..

I have full ubiquity setup on this job and really wanted to use the door access module; unfortunately the G4 cannot control a door strike and the G3 which can doesn't have a fingerprint reader which is needed on this job.

By adding any of the "Hub" devices, you can definitely run a door strike - or almost any electrical field equipment - after the G4 authenticates.

Enterprise Hub
Door Hub
Door Hub Mini
Gate Hub

Good call on going NDAA-compliant. Most of the big names that meet NDAA don’t bundle cameras and access on the same mobile app the way Hik-Connect does. You’ll usually end up with separate apps or need to integrate through a VMS/ACS platform. If the fingerprint reader on the door station is a must, it might be worth checking the access side first and then seeing which camera brands they can integrate with.

I checked with Ubiquiti and the G4 won't control the hub directly; you need to setup and alert first and then the hub will respond. Was told the G3 pro is the way to go.
