Been a while since posted but things change over time. One of my 2mp Dahua died and replaced with 8mp Amcrest. After some workarounds everything back up and running but splitting cameras over 2 networks. Want them on the same camera dedicated network, not my primary network. In the process, found an issue. Historically used SmartPSS to change each camera's internal IP address, but now not working - both falsely telling me the camera it discovered is not running when I can see it running in Blue Iris, but more critically, but SmartPSS and Safari or Firefox browser IP address want me to download a plugin - NACL, but Google terminated support for the app, and while Google Store will dangle it in front of me noting no longer supported, there is no download option!
How does one now access cameras to make internal changes, like the IP address, that programs like Blue Iris are not capable of. I also noted that two of my cameras are pitch black at night as the IR is apparently turned off which I assume is another feature I can check when logged into the actual camera.
