I will admit the clean circular cut looks good around the other plants in the center, but for most conventional sidewalk edges, I'm still not convinced. I had no idea this was such a touchy subject though, sorry to offer a contrary opinion.

guess it depends on the grass? bermuda doesn't give you an option. you edge or your sidewalk is grass too.

Fk that! give me 59% humidity, and a breeze off Lake Superior, with a 49 degree morning....
Or an dry Alberta Clipper with a big entrenched atmospheric High pressure system.
Nah, I'm sure Florida is worth it....I'm not a fan of sweltering Humidity, but you get used to it.
75% is very humid here.....

6 months of Darkness is coming to the land of the Somali refugee fraudsters, ( did I say that outloud?) errr Midnight Sun, well term is actually, rightfully associated with Fairbanks-(70 straight days of Sun Up from mid May to Mid July))
They are coming off 24 daylight cycle now. they are now experiencing twilight all night, with an 11 PM sunset and are losing 7 minutes a day of Light. Conversely, we lose on average 2.5 min of daylight each day in August.

Sometimes in January, Minneapolis gets to feeling like Fairbanks, ....Go to work as the Sun fades, Drive in the dark from about 5:00 PM drive home in the dark and midnight, wake up to go pee at 6- 7 Am still dark out.
have 2 cups of Joe. at Noon, and go do the whole thing all over again.

Good point: I live in a region where tall fescue is the primary choice, some Kentucky Bluegrass, and zero bermuda grass.
