Motion detection

I just got a new Hikvision DVR a IDS-7208HUHI-M2/S I have it all setup. I have to say i am not too thrilled with the new Menu structure. anyway i am tring to figure out how do you set it up so you can see the motion detections on the time line when you are doing a playback. All i have is the solid blue. on my old DVR DS-7208HUI-K2 I could see the blue line but it would also have RED spots in it as well indicating when a Motion was detected

When setting up motion, make sure the Record Channel is ticked under linkages. In order to be shown on bar, the recording log has to exists besides the footage.

So bar is being filled by log timestamps
